Village of Pellston ~ Veterans Memorial Project
Alan Schomberger has designed a concept plan for a new memorial site
which is displayed on the above website.

A Petoskey News Review article told of the official dedication date for Pellston's new Veterans Memorial on 6 June 2014:

"Pellston village president Jim Gillett said while Pellston has no plans for a D-Day ceremony, its Veterans Memorial is currently under construction and its forms have been poured. The project is expected to continue through the summer, with an official dedication on Saturday, Aug. 16. In conjunction with the dedication, the U.S. Air Force Band will perform the national anthem as well as a two-hour concert following the memorial dedication."
